This 2007 Vectrix VX-1 was modified under previous ownership with a custom mahogany wood and fiberglass body and a replacement 6 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack. Equipment includes a brushless DC motor, a planetary gearbox drive, Brembo disc brakes, 14″ alloy wheels, street lighting, a chrome headlight housing, a tan Corbin seat, running boards, and a center stand. The seller purchased the bike on BaT in January 2023 and was unable to ride it during their ownership. It is stored in a remote location from their home, and the photo and video galleries were captured in December 2022 in preparation for the previous auction. This VX-1 has 11k miles and is offered at no reserve with a custom owner’s manual and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.

The custom streamlined bodywork is finished in automotive-grade epoxy over hand-formed Mahogany wood and fiberglass, and it features two half shells that can be removed individually to access the mechanicals. Details include hand guards with integrated LED signals as well as a chrome headlight housing, dual mirrors, a tan leather Corbin seat, running boards, aluminum trim, and a center stand.

Three-spoke 14″ alloy wheels are mounted with a Pirelli GTS23 tire up front and a Dunlop Scootline SX01 tire at the rear. Suspension consists of a telescopic fork as well as a pair of shocks connected to the swingarm. Braking is provided by dual-piston Brembo calipers over a single disc at each end.

The handlebar is mounted to the upper headstock assembly and features a twist-grip throttle that has regenerative braking forward-roll functionality. The instrument panel houses a 120-km/h speedometer that is flanked by a range meter and a battery-level indicator. The digital odometer shows 11k miles.

The replacement 6 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack consisting of several Nissan LEAF cells was fitted under previous ownership. The brushless DC motor is rated at 27 peak horsepower, 9 continuous horsepower, and 48 lb-ft of torque, and sends power to the rear wheel through a planetary gearbox.

Charging is accomplished by means of a three-prong 120v electrical connector.

A custom owner’s manual is included in the sale.
