This 2011 Tesla Roadster was purchased by the current owner in January 2013, and it has 7k miles. The car is finished in black over Dark Gray leather and powered by a three-phase AC induction motor with a factory-upgraded R80 3.0 80-kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a direct-drive single-speed transmission. Equipment includes a black removable soft top, a carbon-fiber roof bow, 16″ and 17″ forged aluminum wheels, heated sport seats, air conditioning, and touchscreen infotainment with Bluetooth capability. This Roadster is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.
The Tesla Roadster was based on the aluminum tub from the contemporary Lotus Elise, with which it shared its windshield and windshield frame. The remainder of the carbon-fiber body panels were unique to the Tesla, and it utilized a 2″ longer wheelbase than the Elise.
