This Land Rover Defender-style go-kart is based on a children’s amusement park ride that was built by 7 M.C. of Pontevico, Italy. It was refurbished and modified in Italy, and the green fiberglass bodywork is fitted over a metal frame, while the vehicle is powered by an electric motor with forward and reverse. Additional features include a front roll bar with mesh grille, LED headlights with mesh grilles, LED spot lights, taillights, a rear roll bar, hood latches, front and rear bumpers, a black seat, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a horn. This Defender-style go-kart was purchased by the seller in 2024 and is now offered at no reserve in Miami, Florida, on a bill of sale.
The fiberglass body was refinished in green under prior ownership, and features include orange side reflectors, a faux grille, and plastic side and wheel arch trim, guards, and surrounds. Black-finished front and rear bumpers were fitted during the refurbishment in lieu of a wraparound bumper from its amusement park days. The front roll bar incorporates a mesh screen and LED headlights, while the rear roll bar has black foam padding. The hood is fitted with rubber latches and a Defender logo.
The green-painted steel wheels wear all-terrain tires.
The cockpit is equipped with a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl, silver diamond-plate floor and sill covers, a black grab handle, and a three-spoke steering wheel with a horn push. An on/off switch, drive selector, and exterior light switches are mounted to the dash along with a battery level indicator. The seller notes the kart can be operated with or without the coin mechanism.
Components fitted under the hood include a fuse panel and a locking door panel that allows access to the coin box. A digital ride counter is positioned above.
Two 12-volt batteries are positioned at the rear and are protected by a black plastic cover with a 7 M.C. logo and a decklid.
Power is sent to the rear wheels by an electric motor with forward and reverse.
