This golf cart was built in the style of a Rolls-Royce by Elmco Inc. of Cooksville, Illinois, and is based on a Club Car chassis with an electric powertrain. The cart features silver and black fiberglass bodywork, a black roof canopy, a split windscreen with a wiper, silver bumpers, a Rolls-Royce-style grille, a hood ornament, front and rear lights, bright trim, and Royal Ride emblems. This Royal Ride golf cart was purchased by the seller in 2023 and is now offered at no reserve in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on a bill of sale.
The fiberglass bodywork is finished in silver with black accents and a black canopy roof. Features include an upper windscreen with a wiper and an opening lower section, silver front and rear bumpers, a Rolls-Royce-style grille with a Royal Ride emblem, a hood ornament, headlights, taillights, chrome grab bars, bright trim, rubber door sill trim, a rear license plate, and a trunk lid with faux spare wheel cover and Royal Ride script. The trunk latch is missing, and the turn signals do not work.
Multi-spoke 10″ alloy wheels have SS center caps and wear 205/50 Kenda Pro Tour tires. The cart rides on a ladder-frame chassis and features a front transverse leaf spring and a live rear axle with leaf springs and shock absorbers. Stopping power is provided by rear drum brakes.
The front and rear seats are upholstered in gray vinyl with gray carpeting on the floors.
The black three-spoke steering wheel has a white perforated cover and an “R” logo on the square center hub. The body-color dashboard houses a toggle switch, cupholders, and a battery level gauge. An on/off key switch is mounted below. No odometer is fitted, and total mileage is unknown.
The 36-volt electric motor is powered by six six-volt Duracell batteries, which the seller states were replaced in 2023.
Manufacturer labels and serial numbers are affixed to the underside of the dashboard.
