This children’s ride was produced in 1998 in the style of a Harley-Davidson Springer motorcycle by the Kiddies Corporation of Lares, Puerto Rico, and it was purchased by the seller in 2023. The ride features a fiberglass motorcycle atop a black base, and motion is provided by a coin-operated electric motor. Additional equipment includes front and rear lights, handlebar controls, a solo seat with a backrest, faux saddlebags, footboards, and a speaker system that plays simulated engine noises. This Harley Davidson-style children’s ride is now offered with memorabilia at no reserve in Hollyglen, California.
The Harley Davidson-style fiberglass bodywork is finished in white over the faux fuel tank and fenders and features red accents, faux black saddlebags with hanging tassels, simulated engine and suspension components, front and rear turn signals, chrome headlamp buckets, and Harley-Davidson decals. Bright rider footboards and faux exhaust pipes are also fitted.
The chrome-finished 10″ wire wheels wear HWA whitewall tires. The base is finished in black and features Harley-Davidson graphics and silver step plates. Various scratches are shown in the gallery.
The single black seat and backrest sits aft of a faux fuel tank and top console that houses an illuminating red-dial faux 80-mph speedometer flanked by faux chrome fuel caps. The chrome handlebar features black grips, spring-loaded brake and clutch levers, and a twist-throttle action activating simulated engine noises.
The ride retains its coin-operated mechanism and is set up to offer a 30-second ride for 50 cents. An electric motor provides motion while simulated engine noises are played through a speaker in the base.
