This 1965 Ford Mustang coupe is a partially completed electric vehicle conversion with a Tesla-sourced rear electric motor and modifications to accommodate approximately 80-kWh of battery capacity. The car rides on a Heidts double A-arm front suspension and independent rear setup with coilovers, sway bars, and tubular control arms, and staggered-diameter five-spoke wheels wear Michelin Pilot tires. The body is finished in white, battery boxes are fitted beneath the floor, and red seating and interior upholstery are included in the sale along with 15 Tesla-style battery packs. Various exterior equipment has been removed and the interior is stripped. This Mustang EV project was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and is now offered at no reserve with spare parts, electrical components, and a clean Michigan title.

The car is finished in white and features a front valance, dual side mirrors, and windshield wipers. The rear section has been tubbed to accommodate the electric motor, the rear bumper and various trim pieces have been removed, and the windshield is cracked. Close-up photos of the condition of the exterior are provided in the gallery.

A Heidts double A-arm front suspension and independent rear setup are installed and feature tubular control arms, front and rear sway bars, and coilovers. The car rides on five-spoke 17″ front and 18″ rear wheels with black centers and polished lips, and they wear staggered-width Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season tires. Front brake discs are fitted, though the calipers and rear brakes have been removed.

The cabin has been stripped and modified, and a fabricated battery box with capacity for four modules is fitted beneath the floor. Mounts for additional battery boxes are installed in the trunk, and the dashboard, door panels, steering wheel, and column remain intact.

Front bucket seats and a rear bench fitted with red vinyl seat covers are included in the sale.

The engine bay has been stripped and modified, and the replacement front suspension eliminates the shock towers. The vehicle has been designed to accommodate 15 Tesla battery packs, resulting in approximately 80 kWh of energy. The battery packs are included in the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a drive unit reportedly sourced from a Tesla Model S/X that houses an AC induction propulsion three-phase, four-pole motor.

Photos taken during the build process are provided in the gallery. The seller notes the ampREVOLT battery boxes shown in the gallery were for mockup purposes and are not included in the sale.
