This 2008 Tesla Roadster was purchased new by the seller’s father, and it has 24k miles following registration history in Virginia. The car is finished in Twilight Blue Metallic over tan leather and features a 53-kilowatt-hour battery pack powering a three-phase AC induction motor paired with a single-speed transmission. Equipment includes a removable roof panel, 16″ and 17″ forged aluminum wheels, heated sport seats, carbon-fiber interior trim, cruise control, air conditioning, and a JVC head unit with navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. This Roadster is now offered by the seller on behalf of their father with the owner’s manual, a wall charger, a charging cable, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title.
The Tesla Roadster was based on the aluminum tub from the contemporary Lotus Elise, with which it shared its windshield and windshield frame. The remainder of the carbon-fiber body panels were unique to the Tesla, and it utilized a 2″ longer wheelbase than the Elise. This example is finished in Twilight Blue Metallic and features a removable roof panel, an exterior charging port, an integrated rear spoiler, and LED taillights.
